 11.24.4 - Pepperbook is up! New layout (for now). You can click on the pictures on the right side. We'll see how this works. Definately go look at my Pepper Book though. Also check out the preliminary version of "Purple".


11.20.4 - Okay so got most of the bugs with my comp worked out at the moment should be able to get all my most recent stuff up. Here's my latest three:

Froud - A graduation/birthday gift for my friend Lauren I did over the summer.
The General - I did this one on election night with my friend Rog. Drawing a face seemed a comforting thing to do.
The Red Hunt - My latest oil painting in it's most recent state. Not quite finished yet but soon hopefully.

Got a few more things going on but nothing worth putting up yet. Hopefully will get my Pepper Book up and maybe start digging into where I want this site to go.


11.2.4 - Had my third outing with my new painting last night. I'm calling it 'The Red Hunt'. Not exactly sure where the title comes from but I'm pleased even if the digital picture isn't everything it could be - a bit blurry and glare-y (is that a word?). I just went in with some hues and linseed oil to pull out the brightness in it. It was pretty dull after it dried last time. Got a few more things to do to it, the skin tone and bring down the brightness of the leaves. Very happy with the mountains in their current incarnation.

Also been working on getting my full Pepperbook section up. Got them all scanned and the gallery all ready to put up but somehow haven't yet. Will take awhile to upload on dialup.


10.18.4 - Done scanning everything. Back online finally. Only took about 10 months but who am I to complain? Been working on a new oil painting for the last few days. Very pleased with it so far. Figured it would suck because I haven't been able to do oil for over a year due to various misadventures. Loki sure as hell doesn't like the smell of it around the place. There are a lot of similiar elements to the painting that mimic stuff I've done in the past but it's got a real live honest-to-goodness background. My first, heh. It's been really nice to get back into painting. Relearning and remembering everything about it. Mom asked if it wasn't just like getting back on a bike but it's really not. I'm quite sure I could forget how.


10.7.4 - Been reading a lot. Too much. Can't really sleep that well. Still trying to work out exactly what I'm going to do with this site. Contemplating using some frames but doubtful. Would make a lot of sense with the labyinthin feel of it. Been reading Mirror Dance by Lois McMaster Bujold. Kind of addicted to her books right now. Got some coffee gonna go experiment on the site now.


10.5.4 - Bought a scanner today. Pretty excited about that. Haven't been able to update my sketchbook since last September because of that same lack. Scanning like a fiend tonight. After 2am here and I'm still going strong. Might end it all soon and go read "Brothers in Arms" or "Paladin of Souls". Both seem restful to my tired eyes at the moment. Nothing quite as odd as scanning and seeing my stuff magnafied a thousand fold. Every brushstroke and penmark revealed.


10.2.4 - Hey there October 2nd here. What's going on? Let's see how this works. Just want to see how this looks as it gets longer don't know what it's gonna do. We'll see.
